How do you choose the right burkini size?

The ZAÏA burkini has a relaxed fit and runs true to size, so order your usual clothing size. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one for more freedom of movement in the water. Sizes run from S to XXXL, and if the size is wrong the exchange is free.

What “relaxed fit” actually means

The cut is deliberately fluid: the fabric does not cling to the body or trace its shape. The goal is comfortable coverage that moves with you, rather than a tight cut you would have to size up to make modest. That is why you do not need to order a size up the way you might with ordinary swimwear.

If you are between two sizes

Take the larger one. The difference shows when you swim and raise your arms, and a slightly roomier cut sits better as you leave the water. Very few customers find their size too tight; several describe the larger size as “a little loose, but perfect”.

Your measurements in centimetres

Here is the chest and bottom circumference per size (in cm, measured flat): S — chest 114, bottom 140. M — chest 120, bottom 146. L — chest 128, bottom 154. XL — chest 134, bottom 160. XXL — chest 144, bottom 164. XXXL — chest 150, bottom 170. Measure a roomy piece you already like and compare it to the table; if in doubt, message us on WhatsApp before we ship.
